DERONIC_NG REACHES OUT TO ORPHANS IN PORT HARCOURT, CALABAR AND UYO

The statement that "Giving is living" truly explains the motive behind the "REACHOUT Campaign" by Deronic_NG.

The ReachOut campaign started in 2017 when the Deronic_NG team assembled other youths in Port Harcourt to reach out to orphans at Port Harcourt Children's home, Borokiri on Sunday, 5th November, 2017.
The children at Port Harcourt children's home were provided with foodstuff, toiletries and clothes.

What started in 2017 as a mere effort by a few concerned youths is now blossoming into a yearly phenomenon worthy of emulation.

The ReachOut campaign is a call to selflessness and service.

The aim of the ReachOut campaign is not just restricted to providing support in terms of physical provisions for orphans, but it spans to helping to enhance their capacity by working on training their heads, hands and hearts.

This year, the Deronic_NG team led by Ronald Kenneth, reached out to Orphans in Port Harcourt (Rivers State), Calabar (Cross River State) and Uyo (Aiwa Ibom State):

•Port Harcourt (3rd Nov.)
The Team visited GRACE ORPHANAGE HOME, PORT HARCOURT  on the 3rd of November, 2019 by 4:30pm (GMT +1) and provided the children with food items, toiletries e.t.c
As part of the reach out for Port Harcourt, the team also feed the over 30 children in the orphanage. There was also a cake which the children cut and a saxophonist and guitarist to spice up the children's day. It was fun as most of the Volunteers that took part in the exercise commented that they felt love by giving love to the children.

•Calabar (6th Nov.)
On the 6th of November, 2019 by 4:00pm (GMT +1), the Team paid a visit to the MOTHERLESS BABIES HOME, UWANSE, CALABAR.
The team provided dinner for the entire 40+ children in the orphanage. Food items and other materials were also provided.

•Uyo (9th Nov.)
The orphans in Uyo, Akwa Ibom state were not left out as the team visited DIVINE CHILDREN'S HOME, ATAN OFFOT, UYO on Saturday, 9th November, 2019 by 1:00pm (GMT +1) and were welcomed by the orphanage matron. The team provided the children with some food items, toiletries amongst others.

These were the words of the team lead, Ronald Kenneth

"We return all glory to God Almighty for making a huge success of The ReachOut Campaign 2019 and God willing, we hope to reach out to more children next year. We have already gotten a few calls from other parts of the country lauding our efforts and we hope to get to them soon. We also appeal to the public to get involved in projects like this."
